The series Red Night (La Passion de Jeanne d’Arc) deals with the duality of visionary mystic’s passion. For a mystic her passion means a request for truth but also extreme suffering. One part of the strife is the conflict with community, or, exclusion. First death sentence, then birth of an adored saint, as was the case with Joan of Arc.
